Just a few words to sum up this phenom of a wedding. Can you tell how this made me a little nervous to begin editing? I felt I would screw it up some how. With how amazing the day went, I honestly was terrified to begin! After months of cold fingers, (or creative block in post processing!) I finally did it! And I am so proud! Keri, Dustin and all of their family-thank you so much for letting us be apart of this magical day! I’m still afraid I didn’t do it justice, but here goes!

Abby + Jimmy met while competitively water-skiing years ago! These two are some insanely talented skiers! Jimmy Went out skiing to ‘get ready’ before his big day! After their wedding, they let us photograph them in their suit and dress water-skiing!! The Schmitt family and the Tranchita family (and all of their friends) were some of the most amazing people we have ever met! So sincere, full of love and boy do they all know how to party! They made Will and I more than welcome, like they’ve known us for years! They even took ME water-skiing the next day! (I’ve never done that in my life! Later post to come with those pics….maybe

Anyways, I could write all night about these guys but I know you’re all dying to see the pics!! We’ve been DYING to share these since we shot it!! ENJOY!!

They had their ceremony at the Historic Roofless Church

Cousins! All these handsom fellas are cousins from around the Chicago area. I know firsthand how important family is, especially when spread across the US! 
Check out that cake topper!!! Instead of a guest book, they had everyone sign a pair of water-ski’s! The newlyweds held their reception at The Red Geranium, gorgeous venue!

We would normally call the day after session, and after bridal session….but we believe this in a category all in its own!

A huge thanks to the Schmitt + Tranchita families and friends who made this wedding day so special to the two of these awesome people! Each and every one of you made their day so special! Abby+Jimmy, we are hoping to come out there again to visit soon! New Harmony would make a great vacation place! What a fabulous time we had on one of the most important days of your lives! The legendary Schimpff’s Confectionary  was the start of this treat street. They have been here for 120 years! It was opened in its present location in 1891 by Gustav Schimpff Sr. and Jr.

Kim and Darrin’s Wedding was absolutely beautiful. What made it so special, was nearly everything they had for decor was

DIY! From the flower and table arrangements to the arbor they were married under, everything was Handcrafted!!

They were married out at one of our favorite locations in Northern, Michigan: Little Girls Point, Lake Superior. Afterwards, their reception took place out at the Caribou Lodge on the breathtaking Big Powderhorn Mountain. We had so much fun running up that ginormous mountain and getting some great shots of the two newlyweds as the sun was setting.

I thought I’d end on this image. As it turns out I was related to the groom’s side of the family. This young lady that I am standing next to is the groom’s grandmother. She is also my grandmothers sister. Small world huh? I later asked her to borrow $50, she refused.jk

This group really had fun with the whole photobooth idea and I gotta say it was a blast.

We had an awesome time playing around with everyone! You will be able to tell, because Alyssa makes a few appearances in the photos.

I went to school with Sarah (a couple grades ahead of me)+ have always looked up to her in every way. She is a tremendous athlete and Dan compliments her so perfectly.  He is totally in love with her and a very funny dude.

They had their wedding at the gorgeous Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN, and despite the rain – nothing could get this crowd down! The entire bridal party and their families were so much fun.
